ABOUT US

Thank you for visiting our website! We are a small, hobby breeder located in the Front Range of Colorado.  We have 13 years of experience with the dogue de bordeaux and this is the only breed we own.  Our dogues are bred for health, type & temperament. We feature exclusive European, International and some American bloodlines.

We believe in the Total Dog concept and therefore all of our breeding dogues hold multiple conformation championship titles (and have been critiqued by FCI judges), have passed the ATTS Inc. temperament test, and many also have received the AKC Canine Good Citizen award and are Therapy Dog certified (TDI, Inc.). In addition, all of our dogues are trained in obedience and we have achieved one CD (companion dog) title with hopes to do more in the future.

We also strongly believe in health testing, and you will find all of our current of age dogues have been screened for hips (OFA & PennHip), elbows, thyroid, cardiac, patellas, eyes (CERF) & VonWD disease.

We are pleased to offer experienced nationwide shipping and full written two-year health guarantees. All puppies are microchipped before leaving our home.  Our dogues are raised in an indoor,  loving, family environment.  We only place our puppies where they will be treated as members of the family rather than simply outdoor pets.

You will notice that all of our dogs are house pets and we keep them the duration of their lives, even well passed retirement. Many other breeders will place older dogs once their reproducing days are over, but ours stay with us forever.

Many of our dogs are ranked nationally in the top 10 of both the breed club (DDBSA) and other show orgs (ARBA, Rarities, UKC, etc.). Please visit our individual dogue pages to view their show results, working titles, pedigree information (pictures included!) and full health screening results.

You will see our dogues at the DDBSA National Specialty show each year and we hope to make the SADB French National Specialty an annual event as well (we have attended three times and received the "farthest traveled dog & owner" award on each occasion!).  We also have been fortunate enough to have had dogs shown in five World Dog Shows and anticipate more in the future. Upon our travels we have met and made many friends worldwide in this breed and have learned so much and cherish them all.

IMPORTANT: No matter who you choose to purchase a puppy from, please demand proof of pedigree/registration of both parents, copies of all health screens (hips are a MUST!) & show results/critiques from FCI licensed judges (true experts of the breed). It is also important to verify a breeder is in good standing with the parent breed club organization.
