In Loving Memory...
Monsieur Elvis J Simba 1/8/95 - 12/10/02
My dearest Simba,
I am so sad to have to write this letter. I have been dreading this day for 7
1/2 years and unfortunately this day has come too soon. Let me start by saying
THANK YOU for coming into my life. I believe it was fate that brought us
together and I will forever be grateful for the events that led to our meeting.
You came into my world and completely changed it for the better. We shared many
many great times together and I will cherish those memories always. Your paw
print will remain on my heart and in my soul forever. You began my love for this
breed. I went into this backwards. I did not research the breed....then buy a
puppy. I bought a puppy on instinct (did not even know it was called a bordeaux),
discovered he was the most amazing animal in the world, and then researched and
became involved with the breed. Now I will never be without a bordeaux for the
rest of my life. Because of you I have met so many wonderful dogue friends
all over the world, who have been incredibly supportive during this difficult
time for me. I have had the opportunity to travel all over to dog shows
and have become greatly involved with the DDBS. All because of the incredible
animal you were and the impact you had on my life.
You have been by my side for so long, I am not sure how I will go on without
you. You touched so many peoples lives, I hope you know how special you really
were. I am a better and stronger person because of you. Simba, you are my
best friend and I will love you always. You will never be replaced, you are a
part of me for eternity.
I won't say goodbye, because I know we will meet again. So until that time, your
memory will remain with me and I have the great pleasure of watching your
offspring grow and hopefully will have more in the years to come.
With all my heart and soul,
Momma (Jen)
