STUD SERVICE CONTRACT
GUARANTEE OF PURE BREEDING, SIGNED BY BOTH PARTIES
This is a contractual agreement for the breeding of:

PUPPY FEE CONDITIONS AS FOLLOWS: I am to have choice of litter any time before puppies are 8 weeks of age. At least one puppy dead or alive is to constitute a litter. In the event of the birth of only one puppy, the puppy fee option may be refused by owner of the bitch and the cash fee paid instead.
IMPORTANT - If puppy back option is taken and bitch changes ownership, the new owner must be notified of this contract and must sign contract also.
If the bitch fails to be in whelp, the owner must give notice to stud owner not later than fifty (50) days after date of first mating or artificial insemination (AI). In the event of no pregnancy resulting from this service, a return service shall be provided to the same bitch by the same stud, without charge, at the next heat (and only the next heat).
If there is no pregnancy, the owner of the bitch to pay all express and shipping charges both ways to accomplish return service. Unless such notice is given, the right to a return service is forfeited. If stud dies, is sold, or otherwise not available, stud owners have the right to mate the bitch with one of their studs if one is available. If the bitch changes ownership, right of full return service is a the stud owners’ option and is not transferable.
IT IS SPECIFICALLY AGREED HEREBY THAT JENNIFER ROBERTS/RISING STAR BORDEAUX IS NOT OBLIGATED TO SIGN APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF THIS LITTER UNTIL AND UNLESS THE STUD FEE HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL OR, IN CASE OF PUPPY FEE, JENNIFER ROBERTS HAS GOTTEN POSSESSION OF PUPPY OR PUPPIES AS AGREED.
The owner of the bitch hereby releases from responsibility RISING STAR BORDEAUX or JENNIFER ROBERTS from any and all liabilities and/or damages to said bitch while she is the care of RISING STAR BORDEAUX for breeding.

ONE COPY OF THIS COTNRACT, PROPERLY SIGNED, TO EACH OF THE TWO PARTIES.
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
Owner of the bitch agrees to the following as conditions of this service:
1) Proof of registration papers and pedigree of said bitch for inspection before any breeding is to take part.
2) Proof of hip certification by either OFA or PennHip report, and current thyroid and cardiac evaluation done by either OFA or lab reports from a certified veterinarian.
3) Brucellosis, vaginal smear and progesterone tests required before any breeding.
4) To maintain the bitch in proper care during pregnancy and while feeding her puppies. She must be given proper rations and nutrition.
5) The right to see and examine the bitch and/or puppies at any time is granted in order to assure myself of the pregnancy and/or condition of the bitch and puppies.
6) To provide proper nutrition and care of puppies, including proper rations, worming and program of inoculations.
7) No puppies of this breeding will be sold to a pet shop or as a wholesale item.
8) To insure that each and every puppy goes to as good a home as is seen fit.
9) Names and addresses of buyers of all puppies resulting from the above breeding shall be provided to the owner of the stud.
It is the intention of this contract to promote, advance and perpetuate the integrity of the Dogue de Bordeaux breed and to protect the interest of both parties. This contract contains the entire agreement between parties and no statement, promises or inducements made by either party that his not contained in this written contract shall be valid or binding. This contract may not be modified or altered except in writing and signed by both parties and endorsed herein.
